Poor Aaron. He works so hard.
Well, it became time to REALLY start working on the house when Aaron got a job offer in Seattle. Aaron tore down the old beehive condominium that was in the block wall for a decade. That was way easier than we thought and should have been done years ago. Aaron tore it down, we paid some skilled workers to put it back up, and then I painted it with a sprayer. Easy peazy.
Among other things, we replaced patio posts, had landscaping cleaned up, and everyone pitched in to get 10 tons of rock moved into the yard.
We also got new carpet and we staged the house for the big sale… I think it looks good enough to live in!
And so begins the next phase of our lives in the Pacific Northwest!
