I graduated from Arizona State University with a BA degree in Earth and Environmental Studies.
I have earned the honor level of Summa Cum Laude and I was also nominated to be given a Class Leader Award as one of the top students of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I earned this award as I was one of the top 120 in the College with a student body of over 20,000. The award ceremony was a nice evening with food and speeches from honored alumni. The past few years have been an exciting exploration of Geology, Climate Change Science and Water Resources.
Our graduating class completed a senior capstone project for our degree program in Spring 2015. The challenge put to our group was to craft a plan that would generate and provide the State of Arizona an additional 50% of all water used statewide by desalinating water from the Gulf of California. The deliverables for this project included a fully developed website, as well as a formal presentation to the department. You can explore the plan at the website below:
As a returning or non-traditional student, I really immersed myself in the curriculum. As a result of my hard work, I was delighted to be inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. I am proud to have graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from the university, as well as with recognition from the Phi Kappa Phi society.
My most recent work includes a Cultural Review Powerpoint for a class called Written Communication for Managers. See the presentation at the following link:
